Sunday September 5th - FATHERS' DAY  -   SCALLOP FESTIVAL.
This is a fun event for the whole family.  You can either enter the competition for the biggest scallop or longest snapper fillet and bring back your catch to share with others, or just turn up to try the spoils of the day cooked on the BBQ or cooked by Fogdog and The Big Fish Team in Fogdog's Tasty Batter mix.  
$10 entry ($5 for gatherer's) gets you a commemorative Scallop Festival wine glass and a glass of the regions fine wine.  
Tickets on sale from Thursday 2nd September at MBBC Office.
9am Purchase tickets at Club $5 per gatherer on boat. Comp starts.
1pm - Back to the Club for measuring biggest scallop and biggest snapper fillet per boat to be measured.

1-2pm - Learn how to 'shuck' a scallop with the masters including Andrea from The BigFish
2pm - Taste the spoils of the day with a glass or two of Vin Alto or Clevedon Hills to some great background music.
