The Club encourages aquatic and social activities for the recreation and enjoyment of its members. Maraetai Sailing Club Inc also operates out of our Club grounds within Maraetai Park.

NEW CATERERS GAVIN & ROB
Fully qualified chefs with 20+ years of experience. Awesome Kids Menu - every child receives a free desert with their meal. Menu ranges from $1.50 - $25.00.

Menu has a vest selection like their famous buffalo wings, roasts, pastas, salads, steaks, burgers, ribs and of course plenty of seafood. Restaurant open from 5pm till late Thurs thru to Sundays plus Public Holidays.

Private Functions
When it is available we hire out our awesome Club rooms for Weddings and other private functions.

SUNDAY FISHING COMPETITIONS
Due to bad weather, the first competition scheduled for 26th October was cancelled.
Competition continues on the following dates:
9th November
23rd November
14th December
TICKETS: Adults $10 Kids (under 13yrs) $5.00
Tickets on sale from 5am - 8.30am on the day or you can purchase them from the bottom
bar on the Thursday before between 6pm & 7pm

PRENZEL Tasting Demonstration Evening
Wednesday 12th November 7.30pm
at MBBC Clubrooms
Taste Prenzel's fruit schnapps & liquers - Sample spohisticated salts - vinaigrettes and infused oils. Savour smooth velvety creams
Orders will be taken on the night. Great chance to get in early for Xmas prezzies

THURSDAY 27th November - Quiz Night to raise funds for Maraetai Sailing Club Junior Sailing

WEDNESDAY 19th November - New Members Night for new and existing members. Local Coastguard and their boat will be in attendance with some advice. Bar Open
No charge for this evening.

Events

Our Club hosts various annual events such as the “Around Waiheke Yacht Race”, our annual Three Day Fishing Competition which is held in April each year. And our very popular annual Friday Fishing Competitions held over a number of weeks plus our Reel Girls Fishing Competition in February
